A try at perspective design. Very simple modern-ish revolver, .357, six-shot. Directly developed from this earlier rough sketch.

Photoshop with Wacom Tablet, SketchUp used to help with perspective.

And to those of you who caught the Cantor set... you math nerd, you.

Remarkable design, awesome in every detail.

Good job! you should have added a threaded barrel (for mounting a silencer - yes, I know this is an unusual option for a revolver, but there are precedents!) and a set of tactical rails - for mounting of optics and accessories on the gun . otherwise, it is a very good design for a military sidearm.

I like it. Like a Mateba, but simpler. I want one.

This design looks amazing. One minor concern; the point where the bullet is fired is awfully close to the user's trigger finger. Wouldn't overheating be a problem?

Chiappa Rhino 50DS uses the same system. Firing the bullet from the low chamber significantly reduces recoil and adds to the controlability of the weapon.

That part is lifted directly off of existing revolver designs, so I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem.

Very nice! And I don't care for revolvers. Is that over-top cylinder swing-out your concept? If so, may I apply it to a clone of a Mateba for a KP fic?
